Project 2 : "Province Signature Villa" by Pornkamol Sutantawong

According to the political situation, countryside and Bangkok City are totally split into two borders.
The rich and the poor people are obviously separated. What I want to do is I want everybody to be
part of a country and welcome them to the city by providing them good places and good jobs.
Nowadays, most of people from countryside come to Bangkok the main reason is to earn money and
send back to their families and their jobs are just labor jobs due to their educations. We think as if everyone
gets a chance to come to Bangkok and do not feel abuse by people in the city,
they will get more chances, better educations and better jobs.

OTOP is a system that bring product from province to city. What we want
is a system that bring countryside people to a city and give them feeling that Bangkok is their home.
The system we are talking about is we want to build a building for every province; we have
75 provinces so we will have 75 buildings around Bangkok. We will provide a nice place for them which
also near to all the facilities; transportation, market and so on.

We are arranging buildings for each province by the section of Bangkok.

Pick up one province from North-East, UDONTHANI, the building will be built on the North-East Zone of Bangkok.
The site must be closed to all facilities such as transportation, school and job.

The site that I collected for Udornthani is at BANGKRAPI, East Side of Bangkok.
At Bangkrapi, Happyland Center offers a place to promote and sell the OTOP products,
supporting the goods from the community.

The main idea is to announce the Bangkrapi province characteris- tic goods, increasing
the chance of selling the products. This gives the money back to the people in the community,
plus it provide the motivation to improve their production quality.
Nevertheless, it holds a unique event for the visitors, such as hair cutting salon, foot massage.
They give out great suggestions about the knowledge of accounting and expenses.

The space is designed to be a gathering place for numerous people from each provinces.
It is specifically representing the characteristic of Udon province. The interior furnitures are made
from materials which are well-known from Udon province, reflecting the atmospheric feeling,
in order to give a sense of Udon within the interior.
