Project 1.1 "Column: Void Column", by Amornrat Nateethong

WE WERE ASKED TO DESIGN A COLUMN, MY COLUMN IS CONSTRUCTED BY SMALL STICKS OF WOOD CARRYING THE WEIGHT. THSES STICKS ARE STRAIGHT LINES, HOWEVER IT LOOKS TWISTED BECAUSE OF HYPERBOLIC STRUCTURE. THIS SIMPLE DESIGN GIVES THE ILLUSION OF BEING MORE COMPLEX.

AS THE SKIN OF THE COLUMN CARRIES THE WEIGHT, INSIDE IS A VOID WHICH CAN BE FUNCTIONAL, IE HIDE WATER PIPES, OR ELEVATOR.

THE PROTOTYPE, I STARTED IT WITH USEING THREAD INSTEAD OF WOOD STICK.
